For our main review, we have iconic vaportrap producer Blank Banshee who released his fifth album. Here is an excerpt of my first impressions:
The album starts off with a hard-edged punk two step and grinding synths but there are still flourishes of glitched computer noises and sound fonts that harken back to 90s operating systems.
While there is still generous drum programming and pin point 808-style Hi Hats, it's not the uniform dark skittering vaportrap beats of his early career.
With short track times, it's an easy listen to take in, without any track overstaying its welcome. It's a barrage of new rhythms and familiar sounds that feels like an evolution of Blank Banshee's style..
